1E: Ensuring Nonprofit Integrity. Successful nonprofits make integrity the centerpiece of their culture, practices and behaviors, because they know that a good reputation is a valuable asset. With the help of an accountability checklist, you'll walk away from this workshop with a clear picture of your organization's strengths and weaknesses, plus proven solutions for eliminating the weaknesses. Liz Callahan, Executive Director, The CBO Center, and Gloria Sandoval, Executive Director, STAND! Against Domestic Violence, and Board Member, The CBO Center.

2E: Gauging and Building Power: Organizational Advocacy Capacity. Does your nonprofit organization have what it takes to engage in a sustained and effective advocacy campaign?  During this session, we will present and discuss key indicators of advocacy capacity (based on Alliance for Justice's Advocacy Capacity Assessment Tool) and how you can use them to assess and strengthen your organization's advocacy capacity. Abby Levine, Senior Counsel, Foundation Advocacy Initiative, Alliance for Justice.

3E: Coming Back from the Brink: Weathering Economic Challenges. In today's economic climate, leading a nonprofit often means maneuvering treacherous financial waters. Learn how two organizations survived the loss of their major sources of funding, how they overcame economic challenges, and how they grew to be much stronger organizations in the end. Florence L. Green, Executive Director, California Association of Nonprofits and Gerald R. Solomon, JD, President & CEO, Public Health Foundation Enterprises (PHFE).
